David bought me a laptop!

I am the very proud owner of a new Macbook Pro 15" Laptop... could my husband be any more generous? :-)

I've always had a laptop because of work and I owned one while in college so, when David & I married we decided to purchase one of the new G5 Mac Desktops. Then, I quit working and we moved across the country and Emily was born and a desktop just wasn't cutting it anymore! Don't get me wrong, I love our Mac desktop but, with a baby who needs lots of stimulation and constant change, it was hard to find the time to sit down at the computer and do much of anything... I was always "on the go" and sometimes couldn't go back into the kitchen to use the computer wasn't possible. So, I started hinting around that I really would like to be "wireless" once again and, lo & behold, a laptop arrived at my house last week!

We also bought the Apple Airport Extreme Base Station so that both computers access the Internet wireless AND can share the printer and our external hard drive wireless! The base station is really cool and much more than just a wireless router... you have got to get one if you don't already have one!
