Recipe: Turkey Goulash

If you like comfort foods, this one is one you should have in your recipe box and it couldn't be easier!!!

1 package of lean ground turkey (or beef or chicken!!!)
2 cups elbow macaroni - cooked according to package directions, drained and set aside!
1 medium white onion - diced fine in your food processor
2 teaspoons crushed garlic (or about 2 cloves finely minced)
1 teaspoon dried ground cumin
1 tablespoon dried ground paprika
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg (dried or fresh, whatever you have)
1 teaspoon ground marjoram
1 14oz can tomato sauce or crushed tomatoes
3 rounded tablespoons sour cream (I used "light" sour cream)

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and brown turkey, season with salt & pepper to taste, drain if necessary.

Add in onion and garlic and let saute for 5-6 minutes until soft and opaque!

Add in tomatoes and all seasonings and heat through. Stir in sour cream and then, add elbow macaroni! Combine macaroni with all sauce and serve!
