Through the Picture Window tagged me and asked me to answer eight questions. Then I get to make up eight questions of my own and pass them on to eight of my favorite bloggers. Fun!
Eight questions Through the Picture Window asked me:
1. Why do you like blogging?
I'm an emotion person and an over share-er, I need to get my feelings and random ramblings out on a daily basis without completely alienating my friends & family so, I write them all down here. I also like have one place to document my hobbies, weight-loss, goals, marriage, and daughter's life, which eliminates the need to send out emails or make a ton of phone calls to keep everyone in my life up-to-date.

2. Are you a morning person or a night owl?
Is it possible to be neither?!? I absolutely despise my alarm clock and having to get up before my body naturally wakes itself up, around 9:30am every day. I have to take down a sugar-free Redbull, shower, and check my email before I'm even human; I'm a total bear in the mornings! I'm also one of those people who thrives on and absolutely loves 12-14 hours of sleep every night, you won't catch me showering and heading off for cocktails at 9:00pm. I start yawning and pondering which book I'll read for an hour in bed before turning the lights off at about 7:30pm every day. What am I, 80? Wow...

3. What was your most embarrassing moment? (Have to keep this one going!)
I don't have many because I'm always the first to laugh at myself but I was beyond mortified when I came down with Mono the day I arrived at my very first Audit and was holed up in my hotel for 6 days while everyone else was working 15-16 hours a day. The team delivered soup and OJ to my room every evening and called to check up on me, like I was this helpless child. It was the first job in my career out of college so, I had a lot to prove! I thought I would never recover...
4. If you could be an animal, what animal would you choose to be?
Ahahaha, this one's easy: our cat, Allie! Why? Because she's treated like Royalty around here and sleeps most of the day. :)
5. What was your favorite subject in school?
All of my Communications and Language classes... I loved writing and giving public speeches! In fact, I was elected Commencement Speaker for The School of Business at Texas State and spoke alone with the Key Note Speaker and The Dean at my own graduation. It was invigorating and one of my proudest moments! I love to talk, to demonstrate things to people, write how-to's, teach others, and solve problems and really wish I had made a career out of it.

6. What's your favorite thing to do when you have time to yourself?
Flip through magazines while snuggled up on the couch. I'm obsessed with magazines of all kinds and never seem to have enough time to sit down and enjoy them.
7. What are some of your quirks?

I'm OCD about the way I grocery shop:
- I make my list according to the layout of the store itself (yes, I have pretty much every aisle memorized)
- I walk the perimeter first before zig-zagging down every single aisle, even when I don't need to, I can't just bee-line it to the back for milk and eggs
- I unload my items onto the conveyor belt by type (frozens, canned, meat/poultry/fish, produce, chemicals, etc.)
- I bag everything myself because NO ONE can do it better than me (I worked in grocery stores through college)
8. What is the average velocity of a laden swallow? Just kidding. What was the last book you read?
