{Easter 2011}

Easter morning began with bunny-shaped waffles just minutes before that sly little bunny left a huge basket of goodies on the doorstep (and rang the doorbell!).

This year's favorite items included science kits, Tangled movie (from Gram!) & coloring book, new iXL game, chocolate gold coins inside plastic eggs, and glitter hair rubber bands.

My littlest chef spent the day in the kitchen with me, helping cook up our annual Easter feast: glazed ham, mac 'n cheese, steamed green beans, home-made biscuits with apricot preserves, and peach cobbler.

An afternoon of playing with her new toys was followed by a viewing of DisneyNature's new film "African Cats" (highly recommend for anyone with little nature-lovers of their own!) and dinner out as this pregnant momma was too tired to cook dinner!

The only thing that could've made this Easter absolutely perfect would've been the presence of Gram, Aunt Jenny, and Papa Joe.
