Warmer than average temperatures = lots of picnics at the pool with friends!  And that means a few more sandwiches and chips than we normally eat, which means a higher than normal grocery bill.  Also, I have decided to purchase only hormone-free, Organic milk and eggs as my next small step to going all Organic.  Meat and poultry will come next, when I can do a bit more research to determine if purchasing from a local grocer or a local farm would be the best route.  So, at $6.99/gallon for milk and $5.99/dozen for eggs, my bill is going to be higher in the weeks to come; however, with all our favorite produce coming into season and thus, being cheaper, it should balance out.  :)

  1. Costco sells the organic eggs for $5 for 2 dozen! Just a thought. I know Costco isn't always a money saver, but there are some things that I just can't buy anywhere else because it is so much cheaper there.
