Disneyland: Day 5

Our last day at Disneyland was bittersweet: we were all hot, exhausted, and I was really swollen and sore so, we were all ready to get home and back to our lovely 68 degree weather in the San Francisco Bay; however, we had so much fun, it was really hard to say good-bye.

We ended our trip with a fantastic treat: breakfast with Mickey & Friends at The PCH Grill inside our hotel.  I have to say, it is the best character breakfast we've been to!  It's a LOT less crowded than Ariel's Grotto and Goofy's Kitchen thus, the service is much better and there are a lot more opportunities for your child to interact with Mickey & Minnie.

The food was great: waffles, eggs & bacon, pastries, muffins, breads & rolls, yogurt, granola, made-to-order omelets, and tons of fresh fruit!

The entertainment was even better!

And the photos and memories we made were absolutely priceless.  I'm not sure either of us have seen Emily's smile bigger.

We checked out at 11:00am and headed home, with Emily crying out; "But I don't want to go home, I love Disneyland" about every hour or so.  It was another easy six hour drive home with us mainly playing "I Spy" and listening to the Disney*Pixar books on tape I bought at Target and we are already talking about going back in October, to celebrate Emily's 5th birthday and Halloween!

Seeing your Emily's face makes me anxious to take my own kids, and myself! (I've still never been... a travesty, I know. haha)
