Girl Scout Day at Six Flags #firstgrader #motherhood
Emily and I both have truly enjoyed being Girl Scouts this year.
The final activity we did as a troop was to let the girls vote on an activity from The Girl Scouts of Northern California Choices Activity Guide that the money we raised as a troop would pay for. They chose Six flags.
Gram, Emily and I carpooled to Six Flags with two other girls and their moms and we spent the entire day together; nine hours at the park doing exactly what the girls wanted to do.
We met a walrus and a tiger...
Got up close and personal with a greenhouse full of butterflies...
Hugged and high-fived some cute characters...
And cooled off in a fountain...
What a special day we had with Emily where she was the center of attention.
Next up: bridging over to Brownie Scouts!

We also watched a dolphin show, saw a shark exhibit, pet sting rays, played arcade games, rode about a dozen roller coasters, climbed a tree house and left with a few souvenirs.
What a special day we had with Emily where she was the center of attention.
