A podiatry update: my new shoes! #motherood

There they are. My new shoes.

I went to Berkeley today to TranSports to get fitted for a new pair of kicks.

Peter was cordial, knowledgable, and eager to help me find the perfect shoe for me. And all my ailments. :)

It was best to go with a neutral shoe so that my custom orthodic insert would be able to have the room to do it's job in stabilizing my feet.

After trying on 6 pairs of shoes, this pair of Aasics was the clear winner and not just because it's soooooooooooooooo cute! My feet didn't slip as I walked, they were snug and comfortable, and they were light weight.

Next up: my appointment Thursday for my scan and diagnostic exam to have a custom orthodic insert created for me.
