It was just my time, I guess

While picking up a gift certificate to Mike's Custom Detail here in Alameda (a Father's Day gift), I somehow managed to lock my keys in the car.

Don't ask because I have no clue. I just can't figure it out. My car won't lock if a door is ajar or if the keys are in the ignition when the car is turned off. How did this happen??? Ugh...

Anyhow, there I am, sitting on the curb, waiting for David to show up with my spare set of car keys. Yes, I called him! Mike's was so dang nice though, they even took down their sign so David wouldn't notice and my car was parked a few curbs down. He didn't seem to have a clue so, the surprise wasn't ruined!

This has never happened to me... I guess it was just my time.
