Wall*E Wrap Party

At the end of the creation, the wrap of every film, Pixar throws a huge Wrap Party for it's employees and spouses at The Nob Hill Masonic Center in San Francisco.

Every year exceeds the year before and it's one event each year we DON'T miss! Luckily, my mom is always so generous to fly down here for the weekend to keep Emily for us. :)

This year, I purchased a metallic, lace Tadashi gown (pairing it with my black BCBG stilletos) and Givenchy chandelier earrings. David wore his beautiful black suit and a black & metallic stripped tie to match my dress. I got pampered with hair and makeup first thing in the morning and we left for the City at 4:00PM. Traffic was definitely better than last year and we ended up getting into the venue just before 5:00PM.

We were wowed with a red carpet entrance (as always), champagne, full bar, passed H' Orderves and then, an elegant, seated dinner and entertainment, which was themed to the film. Each of the four floors of the Center had a completely different theme so, you had endless choices of food, drinks and entertainment to choose from until 4:00AM! We had such an amazing time, dressed to The 9's, being with friends and partying the night away.

Yes, we are posing with a blow-up Alien... it was part of the theme. haha :)

At 11:00PM, The Lighting & Effects Department always takes their group photo and I managed to get one myself this year!


It's amazing how far Pixar goes to thank it's employees, to show it's appreciation of their dedication and their exceptional talent for making great films and we are so blessed to be a part of it all. We love working for Pixar and really enjoyed our special night.

Getting to watch Wall*E was such a treat! It is truly one of the best films I have ever seen, it moved me to tears in parts and it received a standing ovation at the end... we will be seeing it again once it's released in theaters on June 27, 2008.
