July 2009 - Breast/Ovarian physical exam
I met with my Ob/Gyn today, July 8, 2009, for my annual, mid-year physical exam.
Exactly like the exam she gives me when going in January for my annual pap smear, she gave me a manual breast exam and ovary exam. It lasted all of 5 minutes and she said everything appeared normal.
This appointment also gave me a chance to discuss the MRI and Ultrasound I had back in May, how I felt about it, how I was dealing with all of it, and what to expect in November at my first mammogram. She also showed me the films from my MRI and Ultrasound, which was really cool!
It was a great appointment and a nice way to make sure I am on-track with all of this.
