Trick-or-Treating 2009

This Halloween was bittersweet for us: David & I were down near San Diego for a good friend's wedding (the sweet part!) but that meant we had to leave Emily home with her Gran to go Trick-or-Treating without us (the bitter part!).  [sad face]  We know she was in good hands the entire time and had an absolute blast, as witness with the following pictures but we were still a bit sad to have to miss all the fun:
