Recipe: Hamburgers with blue cheese

Super simple, no frills and downright scrumptious!

Recipe: Hamburgers with blue cheese

1lb 97% lean ground beef
1/4 cup A-1 steak sauce
1 tablespoon Kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
4oz blue cheese (I like Smokey Blue and Roquefort best), crumbled into 4 equal parts

With your hands, combine the beef with the steak sauce and shape into 4 patties, approximately the size of the palm of your hand.

Sprinkle both sides with the salt and pepper.

Grill on your indoor grill pan over Medium-High heat for 6-8 minutes per side, depending on how well-done you like your burgers.

During the last 5 minutes of grilling on the second side, place blue cheese ontop of each patty and let the heat from the grill melt it.

Toast buns in the toaster or in the oven, at 350 degrees for 5 minutes.
