Because it's Memorial Day weekend this weekend, the sales ads were bursting with "Buy 1, Get 1 Free" specials on hotdogs, buns, chips, sodas, charcoal, condiments, and produce. Talk about a steal! However, since David and I stocked up on charcoal when Target had it for $6 a bag and my freezer is still fairly full, I skipped a lot of the stuff that was on sale this week.
I chose the meals below because I already had BBQ sauce, chipotle marinade, cornbread, pre-peeled cloves of garlic, Canadian bacon, fresh pineapple, chicken stock, water chestnuts, pizza sauce, bread, mushrooms, deli meat & cheese, and white wine in my pantry from a previous trip to Costco where I stocked up. I also had all the ingredients for a salad, minus the lettuce!
