Recipe: Simple Vinaigrette
Don't pay $4 for a bottle of vinaigrette dressing when you can make it at home for pennies!
1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/3 cup Balsamic vinegar (Red wine vinegar, Raspberry vinegar, White wine vinegar or any other vinegar you like can be used!)
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon fresh herbs (Basil, Thyme, Rosemary and Oregano are my favorites but you can use any fresh herb you grow in your garden or have on-hand)
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Directions
Combine all the ingredients into a a tupperware bowl with a tight-fitting lid (or an actual salad dressing shaker!) and shake well to thoroughly combine, about 1 minute.
Pour 1-2 tablespoons over each individual salad serving.
Store in the fridge for 3-5 days but be sure to thoroughly shake before each use!
